With the trust of the Magic team, I was lucky to get involved with many aspects of
Magic Legends' development.
My roles include : early mood concept, key story beat concept, character/creature
design, modular environment design, prop design, UI, 3d gameplay area blockout,
VFX concept/animation.
We had a great concept team. There was no room for individual ego. We really
worked as a team. Below are some of the works I did.
BENALIA
Early concept

SHIV
Shiv is reshaped constantly by geothermal forces.
Early storyboard concept.

Based on the early mood concept, the next step was a 3d game view mockup test.

UI
This booster pack concept was a wonderful collaboration experience with Kelly Perry and Andrey Dorozhko!

While this is nothing close to final, I had great fun animating.

There are a few regions which I am not able to show publicly.

When Covid hit, many of us were forced to work from home. Our lead Dave came up a brilliant idea. It was called Scribble Time. We set out 1 hour every Wed to just hang out and sketch with the team (Dave Phillips, Kelly Perry, Ahmed Rawi, and me). Sometimes, other members from different departments also joined us. It was fun!
Below is one of the sketch we did. I really appreciated the team.
